As part of its capacity building work, the Wesley Center for Family and Neighborhood Development received a three year grant from the Compassion Capital Fund out of the United States Department of Health and Human Services to build and resource a broad-based collaborative community coalition in Dove Springs that would be able to better address a myriad of issues that Dove Springs youth face.
As the lead organization, the Wesley Center provides training, technical assistance, coaching and mini-grants to faith-based and community organizations in four critical areas:
- Leadership Development
- Organizational Development
- Program Development
- Community Engagement
